Contract/Project
We are seeking to appoint a compassionate, enthusiastic and committed Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join a well-supported and well-resourced school in the Stourbridge area.

This is a rewarding opportunity to work with primary-aged children with a range of complex needs, supporting them to access learning, develop independence and achieve their full potential in a safe, nurturing and inclusive environment.

The successful candidate will be patient, proactive and adaptable, with a genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs. Experience of working with pupils with complex learning needs, autism, communication difficulties or physical disabilities would be advantageous, although a positive attitude and willingness to learn are equally important.

The Role

The successful candidate will:

* Provide high-quality support to children with complex needs on a one-to-one basis and in small groups.

* Work closely with teachers and the wider multidisciplinary team to deliver personalised learning and care.

* Support pupils' communication, social, emotional and academic development.

* Adapt learning activities to meet individual needs and learning styles.

* Promote independence, confidence and positive behaviour.

* Contribute to a safe, stimulating and nurturing learning environment.

* Maintain accurate records and contribute to pupil progress reviews.

* Build positive relationships with pupils, families and colleagues.

We are looking for someone who:

* Holds a recognised Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent).

* Has experience of supporting children with Special Educational Needs, particularly those with complex needs, or is eager to develop within this area.

* Is nurturing, patient and resilient.

* Is proactive, flexible and able to respond to the changing needs of pupils.

* Has excellent communication and teamwork skills.

* Can use initiative while working effectively as part of a supportive staff team.

* Is committed to promoting inclusion and ensuring every child has the opportunity to succeed.

* Demonstrates a strong commitment to safeguarding and promoting children's welfare.

We can offer:

* A welcoming, inclusive and highly supportive school community.

* Excellent resources to support high-quality teaching and learning.

* A collaborative team of experienced professionals.

* Ongoing training and opportunities for professional development.

* A rewarding role where you can make a meaningful difference to the lives of children with additional needs.

* A positive working environment that values staff wellbeing and teamwork.

Safeguarding Statement

Our school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. All appointments are subject to satisfactory references, an enhanced DBS check, online searches in line with Keeping Children Safe in Education guidance, and all other relevant pre-employment checks.

We welcome applications from dedicated and caring individuals who are passionate about supporting children with complex needs and who are committed to helping every pupil thrive
