Electrical shift engineer

TXM Recruit are currently recruiting for an Electrical Shift Engineer to join our client’s operations team, responsible for mechanical, electrical, and fabric maintenance at a site based in North West London..

* Competitive Salary – Up to £44,000 per annum, depending on experience

* 25 days annual leave, plus bank holidays

* Enhanced overtime rates for additional earnings

* Annual bonus (up to 4%) - subject to performance (historically paid out)

As an Electrical Shift Engineer, you will:

* Execute Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) using Ostara

* Respond promptly to building alarms (via helpdesk or BMS) and escalating where required

* Manage reactive maintenance tasks via CAFM system and meet SLA targets

* Liaise closely with Supervisor, technical admin, and service delivery teams.

* Escort/coordinate subcontractors during maintenance visits.

* Participate in minor engineering projects and reactive maintenance.

Working hours / Shift pattern:

* 6am to 6pm OR 7am to 7pm (to be agreed by the LM)

* 42 hours per week

* 4 on / 6 off / 4 on / 4 off / 6 on

On call rota:

* 1 in 5

Requirements

* City & Guilds Parts 1 & 2 or NVQ Level 3 in an Electrical discipline

Desirable:

* City & Guilds Part 3 or NVQ Level 2

* 2391 Inspection & Testing of Electrical Installations

* 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
