About the Role
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Repairs Planner to join a busy repairs and maintenance team based in Walton-on-Thames on a temporary ongoing contract.
This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and customer-focused individual with experience in scheduling repairs, coordinating operatives, and delivering excellent customer service within a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Schedule and coordinate responsive repairs, maintenance works, and appointments.
Allocate jobs to operatives and contractors to maximise productivity and meet service level agreements.
Monitor and manage diaries, ensuring appointments are efficiently planned.
Liaise with tenants, contractors, and internal teams to provide updates on repair appointments.
Handle incoming calls, emails, and repair enquiries professionally and efficiently.
Reschedule appointments where necessary and proactively manage any delays.
Ensure all repairs are accurately logged and updated on the relevant housing management systems.
Work closely with supervisors and operational teams to ensure repairs are completed within target timescales.
Deliver a high standard of customer service while resolving scheduling issues effectively.
Candidate Requirements
Previous experience working as a Repairs Planner, Scheduler, or in a similar repairs coordination role.
Experience within social housing, property maintenance, or repairs and maintenance is highly desirable.
Strong organisational and time management skills.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Ability to prioritise workloads and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Competent using Microsoft Office and repairs scheduling or housing management systems.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
