Sustainability Manager Role

Full-time, permanent position

Location: Office & between various sites: East, Cambridge, Chelmsford, Ipswich & Norwich

Need to have strong construction experience

This opportunity includes the leadership of the sustainability function, influencing and guiding teams through the clients responsible business approach. An individual who values and promotes the benefit of sustainability within the construction industry, can communicate to senior business individuals, project team members and externally in forums, business development as an advocate of the clients and sustainability.

We are looking for an experienced built environment professional to lead the Sustainability function across the East region of the client. Reporting to Regional leadership, you will be responsible for the sustainability performance of Construction East business and its projects, including project input within pre-construction and construction phases, strategy setting at project and business levels, managing our Whole Life Carbon Assessment process, and working to achieve sustainable performance across all aspects. This position is based across the East with the requirement for 1-day a week in each of the offices and regular site visits.
