A trusted, family-run business with nearly four decades of experience in forklift trucks and materials handling solutions is looking for a skilled and motivated Workshop Engineer due to continued expansion.

Responsibilities as Workshop Engineer
Service, repair, refurbish, and maintain a variety of forklift trucks and material handling equipment.
Diagnose faults and carry out effective repairs to ensure equipment reliability and safety.
Perform pre-delivery inspections (PDIs) to ensure machinery meets high performance and safety standards.
Collaborate with the workshop team to deliver outstanding service and support to our customers.
What we’re looking for in a Workshop Engineer:
Mechanical or electrical engineering experience (ideally in forklifts, plant, automotive, or similar sectors).
Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
A proactive, hands-on approach with excellent attention to detail.
Relevant qualifications (e.g., NVQ, City & Guilds) are beneficial but not essential – experience and attitude matter most.
Must hold a valid UK driver’s licence and be able to commute to the Wokingham workshop.
