Our client, a well-established family-run independent garage in Mansfield, Nottinghamshire, is looking to recruit a skilled Vehicle Technician. This is a unique opportunity for experienced technicians seeking a relaxed working environment with a focus on quality rather than targets. Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm, with 1 in 2 Saturdays, 8:00am – 12:00pmDuties of a Vehicle Technician:
Conduct servicing, maintenance, and repairs on various vehicles
Diagnose faults and complete repairs efficiently
Perform vehicle inspections and health checks as a Vehicle Technician
Ensure all work is completed to high standards within designated timescales
Vehicle Technician's should maintain accurate job records and workshop documentation
Collaborate with the workshop team to deliver high-quality customer serviceRequirements of a Vehicle Technician:
Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair preferred (not essential with sufficient experience)
Minimum of 2 years' workshop experience
Confident in servicing and mechanical repairs across multiple vehicle types
Ability to work independently whilst maintaining high standards
Positive attitude with a strong team ethic
