Client - University of Southampton
Contract - 3 Month Hybrid Working
We're looking for a highly organised and proactive Communications & Events professional to support the delivery of engaging student communications across the accommodation journey. Working closely with the Residences Communications Manager, you'll create and schedule compelling content, maintain digital communication channels, coordinate targeted campaigns, and ensure students receive timely, relevant and engaging information throughout their university experience.
Key responsibilities include:
Creating and managing engaging communications across a range of digital channels.
Maintaining and developing SharePoint and online content to keep students informed and connected.
Planning and delivering communication campaigns aligned to key stages of the student journey.
Acting as a central point of contact for communications across the Residences team.
Supporting the delivery of recruitment and engagement events, including content creation, promotion and on-the-day support.We're looking for someone with:
Experience creating high-quality, audience-focused content.
Strong written communication skills with excellent attention to detail.
Experience managing multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
Confidence building relationships with a range of stakeholders.
Strong digital and IT skills, with experience of online communication platforms and content management systems.This is an excellent opportunity for a communications-focused professional who enjoys combining creativity, organisation and stakeholder engagement to enhance the student experience.
