Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Snowflake Data Engineer to join a high-impact data migration project focused on modernizing our data platform. The successful candidate will play a key role in migrating enterprise data workloads from Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to Snowflake, ensuring scalable, secure, and high-performance data solutions.

Working closely with data architects, business stakeholders, and engineering teams, you will design, build, optimize, and support data pipelines while ensuring data quality, governance, and operational excellence throughout the migration life cycle.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Snowflake.
• Strong experience migrating enterprise data platforms to Snowflake.
• Experience working with Google Cloud Platform, including:
  • BigQuery
  • Cloud Storage (GCS)
  • Cloud SQL
  • Dataflow (desirable)
  • Pub/Sub (desirable)
• Strong SQL development and query optimization skills.
• Experience developing ELT pipelines using tools such as dbt, Matillion, Informatica, Fivetran, or similar.
• Strong Python programming skills for automation and data engineering.
• Experience with orchestration tools such as Apache Airflow or similar.
• Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines using Git, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins.
• Good understanding of dimensional modelling, data warehousing, and modern data architecture.
• Experience with data quality, lineage, metadata management, and governance.
• Familiarity with Agile delivery methodologies.
