SAP QM Consultant Freelance

Contract: 12 months + (Long-term programme)
Experience Required: 3-7 Years
Working Pattern: Hybrid (Typically 50% onsite/50% remote. In exceptional circumstances this may be 30% onsite/70% remote.)

Location: Budapest

Purpose

Ensure end-to-end technical implementation, configuration governance and cutover readiness across the IT landscape, enabling a stable and compliant transition to SAP target systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and validate SAP QM configuration in line with global templates and local business requirements.
• Collaborate with Delivery, Factory and Architecture teams.
• Ensure environment readiness including provisioning, interfaces and user access.
• Support data mapping, migration and reconciliation activities.
• Coordinate System Integration Testing (SIT), defect management and end-to-end validation.
• Ensure Best-of-Breed (BoB) integration readiness including APIs, Middleware and payload mapping.
• Support Legacy system transition and decommissioning.
• Assist with cutover activities including transport management, data validation and Hypercare.
• Act as the technical liaison between Digital teams, business stakeholders and integration partners.

Required Experience

• Strong SAP QM implementation experience.
• SAP S/4HANA knowledge.
• Integration, Middleware and interface experience.
• Data migration and testing experience.
• Cross-functional stakeholder management.
