This is a great opportunity for a Maintenance Engineer to join a well-established heavy manufacturing business with nearly 90 years of history, supplying high-quality products to customers across the UK and internationally.
The business operates two manufacturing sites with around 200 employees, producing products for a wide range of industries. Around 60% of production is exported worldwide, supplying major global manufacturers.
The company continues to invest in its operations, with recent additions and ongoing expansion, creating long-term opportunities for Maintenance E#ngineers.
The Role – Maintenance Engineer
You'll be part of a skilled engineering team responsible for maintaining heavy industrial plant and production equipment across the foundry.
Key responsibilities include:
Fault finding and repairs on heavy industrial machinery
Planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive breakdowns
Reading electrical schematics and carrying out like-for-like component replacement
Installing and commissioning new equipment
Maintaining safety-critical equipment and supporting continuous improvements

What They’re Looking For
A recognised qualification in Engineering (NVQ, City & Guilds, BTEC, Apprenticeship or equivalent)
Ability to:
Read electrical schematics
Fault find within control panels
Replace electrical components like-for-like
Work on three-phase systems
A proactive, hard-working engineer who can work independently and solve problems
Progression & Development
