Business Development Consultant | Hybrid (4 Days Office / 1 Day Home)
Do you enjoy starting conversations, understanding commercial challenges, and introducing ideas that genuinely help businesses move forward?
We’re looking for a Business Development Consultant to join an established but growing organisation. This is a consultative outbound role, suited to someone confident on the phone, curious about how businesses operate, and motivated by uncovering opportunities rather than pushing a hard sale.
You’ll be proactive in reaching out to new prospects, asking the right questions, and positioning solutions that make sense for each organisation.
What you’ll be doing
* Making outbound calls to introduce the business and start high‑quality conversations
* Engaging senior stakeholders in a professional, consultative way
* Understanding challenges, priorities, and commercial objectives
* Identifying where the solutions can add genuine value
* Presenting ideas clearly and confidently
* Turning leads into qualified opportunities
* Building long‑term relationships from first contact
* Maintaining accurate CRM notes and sharing market insight

* A confident and professional telephone manner
* A consultative mindset — you listen before offering solutions
