We are particularly keen to speak with candidates who have experience supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEND), including Autism (ASC), ADHD, SEMH, speech and language needs, and complex learning difficulties.
The Role
Supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis or in small groups.
Assisting the class teacher to deliver engaging lessons.

Supporting pupils with additional learning, communication and personal care needs where required.
Helping to create a safe, inclusive and positive learning environment.
We Are Looking For
Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant, Learning Support Assistant or SEND Support Assistant.
Experience supporting children with SEND is highly desirable.
Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification is advantageous but relevant experience will also be considered.
Strong communication skills and a positive, proactive approach.
Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
A genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development.
We also welcome applications from candidates with transferable experience, including residential care workers, support workers, youth workers, sports coaches, psychology graduates, ex-forces personnel, prison officers, police officers, firefighters and security professionals with experience supporting young people or individuals with additional needs.
Requirements
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain and pay for a new Enhanced DBS check.
Right to work in the UK.
Two satisfactory references covering the last two years.
Please note: Schools require candidates who are able to hit the ground running. No training will be provided, so applicants should have relevant experience and be confident working within a classroom environment.
