My Client is seeking an experienced Wills & Probate Practitioner to join their established Private Client team based in their Huddersfield offices.
The Role
You will be responsible for managing a broad caseload of private client matters, including:
• Drafting Wills.
• Preparing Lasting Powers of Attorney.
• Trust administration.
• Probate and estate administration.
• Advising clients on a range of private client matters from initial instruction through to conclusion.
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships, with a commitment to delivering exceptional client care.
• Conducting client meetings, including occasional home visits where required.
• Working collaboratively with colleagues and external professionals to achieve the best outcomes for clients.
Skills & Experience
• A minimum of 3 years' post-qualification experience in private client work.
• Experience managing a caseload of Wills, Probate, Powers of Attorney and Trust matters.
• Excellent communication, organisational and client care skills.
• The ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team environment.
• A proactive and professional approach with a genuine interest in private client law.
• STEP qualification, or working towards STEP qualification, would be advantageous.
• Membership of the Association of Lifetime Lawyers (or a willingness to work towards accreditation) would also be beneficial.
