We are seeking an experienced and proactive Logistics Supervisor to join our growing operations team. This is an exciting opportunity for a logistics professional with strong leadership skills to take ownership of upstream logistics activities and play a key role in driving operational efficiency across the business.

As Logistics Supervisor, you will oversee all inbound and outbound logistics operations, manage stock control, lead a logistics team, and implement continuous improvement initiatives to ensure service excellence and operational performance.

Key Responsibilities

Logistics Operations

Oversee the smooth running of all logistics activities including goods receipt, auditing, storage, shipping and delivery.
Manage warehouse and storage flows to maximise efficiency.
Support inbound and outbound operations, including goods-in processing and component picking.
Monitor stock levels and implement corrective actions where required.
Investigate and resolve operational issues and customer or supplier disputes.
Coordinate communication and workflow between logistics, procurement, technical and sales support teams.

Team Leadership

Lead and motivate logistics teams to achieve operational targets.
Assist with workforce planning including holidays, absences, shift rotations and resource allocation.
Monitor team performance through KPI analysis and performance reviews.
Encourage training, coaching and ongoing skills development.
Foster a positive, safety-focused and high-performing working environment.

Performance & Continuous Improvement

Develop and monitor logistics performance indicators.
Identify operational inefficiencies and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
Collaborate with production and other departments to establish and maintain quality objectives.
Ensure compliance with health & safety, hygiene and 5S standards.
Lead logistics-related projects and ensure effective communication across all stakeholders.
Create, update andimplementSOPs for key logistics processes, including:
Goods In
Goods Out
Put Away
Returns
RMA Processes
Quarantine Procedures

About You

The successful candidate will be an organised and hands-on logistics professional with proven supervisory experience in a fast-paced environment.

Essential Requirements

Degree in Logistics, Transport, Supply Chain or a related field.
Minimum of 2 years' experience in a Logistics Supervisor or similar leadership role.
Strong knowledge of supply chain and warehouse operations.
Experience managing inventory, stock control and logistics performance.
Proficient in ERP systems.
Strong understanding of KPI reporting and performance management.
