Site Manager - Roofing

We are recruiting for an experienced Freelance Roofing Site Manager to join a well-established principal contractor with an excellent reputation for delivering refurbishment, maintenance and external works projects across the UK. With a highly regarded roofing division, the business specialises in delivering both flat and pitched roofing schemes for a wide range of public and private sector clients and continues to secure a strong pipeline of work.

This opportunity is based on a new roofing project in Brent, where you'll take responsibility for mobilising the site from the ground up and overseeing works on projects valued at up to £500,000.

The Role

* Number One on site, reporting to a visiting Contracts Manager.

* Mobilise and manage the project from inception through to completion.

* Coordinate subcontractors, site logistics and daily operations.

* Ensure health & safety compliance and maintain high-quality project delivery.

* Oversee roofing packages, including both flat and pitched roofing, along with associated external works and scaffolding.

Requirements

* Proven experience managing roofing projects (flat and pitched roofing experience preferred).

* Strong understanding of external works and scaffolding.

* SMSTS (essential).

* CSCS Card (essential).

* First Aid at Work (essential).

* Full UK Driving Licence and own vehicle.

* Confident leading site teams and managing programme, quality and health & safety.
