We're working with a range of welcoming primary, secondary and SEND schools across Teesside that are looking for confident, caring Higher Level Teaching Assistants to support learning and make a real difference every day.

What you'll be doing

No two days are ever the same, but you can expect to:

Lead planned lessons when the class teacher is away
Support pupils one-to-one and in small groups
Work alongside teachers to deliver engaging, creative learning
Help children with a range of learning, social, emotional and behavioural needs
Monitor progress and share feedback with teaching staff
Create a positive, inclusive classroom where every pupil feels supported
Follow safeguarding procedures and help maintain a safe learning environment

We're looking for someone who:

Has HLTA status or significant experience as a Teaching Assistant
Feels confident leading whole-class learning when needed
Builds positive relationships with pupils, colleagues and families
Is organised, adaptable and happy to muck in wherever needed
Communicates clearly and works well as part of a team
Wants to help children grow in confidence and achieve their best

An experienced Teaching Assistant ready to progress
A Learning Support Assistant looking for more responsibility
