Overview
This role is ideal for someone looking to start a career in procurement or take the next step towards becoming a procurement professional, including working towards qualifications such as MCIPS. No scientific or engineering background is required.

Key Responsibilities
Raise, manage, and track purchase orders in line with company procedures.
Obtain competitive quotations where appropriate, considering cost, quality, and delivery requirements.
Work closely with internal stakeholders to understand procurement needs across multiple departments.
Support the development of procurement plans and sourcing strategies alongside the wider procurement team.
Identify and onboard suitable new suppliers to improve quality, delivery, and value.
Manage procurement administration, including purchase order processing, supplier queries, delivery issues, and invoice resolution.
Analyse supplier spend and identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
Support a range of procurement and supply chain projects as business needs evolve.
Working Arrangements
Hybrid working model with a combination of on-site and home working.
Collaborative team environment with opportunities for flexible working arrangements where appropriate.
