WSR is recruiting for a Business Development Manager on behalf of our reputable client.
Business Development Manager
Location: Remote – East of England (ideally based between Milton Keynes, Peterborough and Nottingham)
Salary: Up to £50,000 + Car Allowance + Bonus
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-growing, award-winning technology business that has developed a market-leading, customer-centric solution used by over 5,000 automotive retailers across the UK.
Covering the East of England, you'll play a key role in driving business growth by winning new customers while developing and expanding relationships with an established portfolio of automotive retailers. Working closely with leading OEMs and prestigious dealership groups, you'll help increase adoption of an innovative solution that delivers real value to customers.
This is a fully remote role, with approximately two days per week spent visiting customer sites and one day per month attending the company's head office for the monthly sales meeting.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing automotive customers.
Identify and win new business opportunities across your territory.
Conduct regular account reviews to maximise customer engagement and performance.
Deliver on-site training and support to ensure successful customer onboarding.
Clearly communicate the company's value proposition and product benefits.
Generate leads and support the activation of new customer accounts.
Drive the growth of the company's Pay Later solution by identifying opportunities and demonstrating its performance-enhancing features and commercial benefits.
About You
Previous experience within the automotive industry, ideally in an aftersales or service environment.
Proven B2B sales experience or experience selling into the automotive sector.
Full UK driving licence.
Confident presenting products and delivering customer training.
Strong commercial awareness, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently across a field-based territory.
