The Role
As a Daily Supply Teacher, you will provide short-term cover across KS1 and KS2. You will usually deliver pre-planned lessons, manage the classroom confidently and ensure pupils remain focused and supported throughout the school day.
Key Responsibilities
• Deliver pre-planned lessons across KS1 and/or KS2.
• Maintain clear routines and positive behaviour expectations.
• Keep pupils engaged, safe and on task throughout the day.
• Adapt quickly to different year groups and school environments.
• Follow school policies and safeguarding procedures.
• Provide brief feedback to school staff at the end of the day.
• Represent Teach Now professionally in every placement.
Requirements
• Qualified Teacher Status, QTS.
• Recent UK primary teaching experience.
• Confidence teaching across KS1 and/or KS2.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• Flexible, reliable and professional approach.
• Ability to build rapport quickly with pupils and staff.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one.
