Overview of the Role
An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Finance Business Partner to join a public sector organisation on a 14-month fixed-term basis. Working closely with directors and budget holders, you will provide financial insight, challenge and support to improve decision-making, financial management and organisational performance.
Key Responsibilities
Act as the main finance contact for designated business areas.
Build strong relationships with directors and senior stakeholders.
Lead monthly forecasting, budgeting and management accounting activities.
Produce accurate management accounts and financial reports.
Provide financial analysis, insight and challenge to support decision making.
Support board, audit and governance reporting requirements.
Develop and improve management information, reporting tools and dashboards.
Support year-end processes, audits and statutory reporting.
Ensure compliance with financial controls and governance requirements.
Identify and implement process improvements across the finance function.
Skills and Experience
CCAB or CIMA qualified, or part-qualified
