Location: Haverhill, Suffolk
Pay: £27,000 - £28,000 (DOE)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract: Permanent

We are currently recruiting for a Stores Operative to join a busy manufacturing business in Haverhill, Suffolk. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with previous stores, goods-in, or warehouse experience looking for a long-term role with stability and genuine development potential.

This role is ideal for a hands-on, organised individual who takes pride in accuracy and ensuring stock control runs smoothly within a fast-paced production environment.

Pay & Hours:

Circa £27,000 - £28,000 (depending on experience)
Monday to Friday, 08:30 - 17:00
Full-time, permanent positionStores Operative Duties:

Receiving and processing incoming goods and deliveries
Storing and organising materials in line with company procedures
Picking and issuing materials, consumables, and job kits to production
Supporting manufacturing with kitting and production preparation
Carrying out stock checks, cycle counts and reporting discrepancies
Updating system records including scrap adjustments and stock movements
Monitoring stock levels and expiry dates
Packing and dispatching outgoing orders accurately and securely
Completing shipping documentation as required
Maintaining a clean, tidy and organised stores areaWhat We're Looking For:

Previous experience in a stores, goods-in or despatch environment
Strong stock control and inventory management knowledge
Good IT skills (including Excel and Word)
High attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work under pressure in a methodical way
Strong team player, but also able to work independently
Experience with stock takes and warehouse procedures
Physically fit - able to lift and move materials when requiredBenefits:
