AutoCAD Technician – Join a Growing Surveying Team

Are you an experienced AutoCAD Technician with a background in land or engineering surveys?

We're recruiting on behalf of a well-established surveying consultancy looking to expand its technical team. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a wide variety of projects across the residential, commercial, infrastructure and development sectors, producing accurate survey drawings that support projects from concept through to construction.

Whether you prefer working from the office in Coventry or remotely with occasional team meetings, this role offers flexibility alongside genuine opportunities for career development.

The Role

As an AutoCAD Technician, you will:

* Produce accurate 2D survey drawings from field survey data.

* Process topographical, measured building and utility survey information.

* Prepare plans, elevations, sections and other technical drawings using AutoCAD.

* Work closely with surveyors and project teams to ensure high-quality deliverables.

* Amend and update drawings in line with client and project requirements.

* Maintain drawing standards and quality assurance procedures.

* Assist with the organisation and management of survey data.

About You

You'll ideally have:

* Previous experience as an AutoCAD Technician within land surveying, engineering, civil engineering or a related industry.

* Strong AutoCAD skills with the ability to produce accurate technical drawings.

* Experience working with survey data and mapping information.

* Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach.

* Strong communication and organisational skills.

* The ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.

* Knowledge of survey software or 3D modelling packages would be advantageous but is not essential.
