Tradewind Recruitment are currently recruiting for a confident and experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a specialist SEN school located in Wakefield.
This school is part of a large and well-established multi-academy trust and is recognised for its nurturing, trauma-informed approach to supporting children with complex and high-level special educational needs. The school provides a structured, supportive environment where pupils are encouraged to develop both academically and emotionally.
They are seeking an HLTA who can take a leading role in supporting learning, delivering planned sessions, and working closely with teachers and support staff to ensure consistent, high-quality provision.
The Role
As an HLTA, you will play a key role in supporting teaching and learning across the school. You will be responsible for delivering pre-planned lessons, leading small group interventions, and supporting pupils with complex needs in both classroom and 1:1 settings.
You will also work closely with teaching staff to adapt resources, support behaviour strategies, and contribute to the overall learning and development of pupils.
