We're looking for a Site Engineer to join our United Utilities Framework based in the North West of England.
Location: North West of England
Hours: 45 per week
This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a collaborative team where your technical expertise will directly support the successful delivery of important infrastructure projects. You'll work in a supportive environment that values precision, innovation, and teamwork, ensuring every project meets the highest standards of safety and quality.
What will you be responsible for?
As a Site Engineer, you'll be working within the site team, supporting them in delivering works to design specifications, safety standards, and quality requirements.
Your day to day will include:
Carrying out site engineering tasks including setting out, surveying, and checking works against design drawings
Supporting the coordination and planning of site works, ensuring technical queries are resolved promptly
Maintaining site records such as daily diaries, as-built information, and inspection and test plans
Liaising with subcontractors, suppliers, and project team members to ensure timely delivery
Promoting health, safety, and environmental policies while ensuring compliance with site regulations
What are we looking for?
This role of Site Engineer is great for you if:
You hold a degree or HNC/HND in Civil Engineering or a related discipline
You have previous experience in a site-based engineering role within a relevant industry
You're proficient in using setting out and surveying equipment such as total station or GPS
You have a strong understanding of technical drawings, specifications, and construction processes
You hold a full driving licence
