Location: Ashford (own transport required)
Pay rate: £16.10 per hour
Full-time, Permanent | 8:00am - 5:30pm | Overtime Available
Are you an experienced MIG Welder looking to join a successful and established business? Our client is seeking a skilled and reliable individual to become part of their friendly and supportive production team on the outskirts of Ashford.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a strong welding background who takes pride in producing high-quality work and enjoys working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
The Role
Reporting to the Manager, you will be responsible for manufacturing high-quality products, working from engineering drawings and ensuring all work meets company quality standards.
Key duties include:
Carrying out MIG welding in both production and bench environments
Reading and interpreting basic engineering drawings
Producing products to a consistently high standard
Adhering to all health and safety procedures and company policies
Supporting other areas of the manufacturing department when required
Working collaboratively as part of a stable and experienced team
What We're Looking For:
MIG production welding experience
The ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
Strong attention to detail and quality standards
The ability to work independently and as part of a team
A flexible and dependable approach to work
A willingness to work overtime when required
