Senior Sales Executive – Diagnostic Testing Services

Location: Remote (UK) with occasional travel to a Liverpool office and customer sites
Salary: £45k - £65k base (DoE) + uncapped commission + benefits

We are seeking an experienced and commercially driven Senior Sales Executive to lead business development across the UK, selling AI driven, diagnostic testing services to the clinical research, pharmaceutical and laboratory sectors.

This is an exciting opportunity for a proven sales professional with experience in life sciences, diagnostics or laboratory services who thrives on developing new business, building long-term customer relationships and delivering commercial growth.

Working remotely, you'll have the flexibility to manage your own territory while being supported by our team based in Liverpool.

The Role

As a Senior Sales Executive, you will be responsible for identifying, developing and winning new business opportunities for our portfolio of diagnostic testing services. You'll engage with customers across pharmaceutical companies, contract research organisations (CROs), clinical research organisations, NHS and private laboratories, biotechnology companies and academic research institutions.

Key responsibilities include:

* Developing and executing a strategic sales plan to achieve and exceed revenue targets.

* Identifying and securing new business opportunities within pharmaceutical, biotech, clinical research and laboratory markets.

* Building strong relationships with key decision-makers, including laboratory managers, research directors, procurement teams and scientific stakeholders.

* Managing the full sales cycle from prospecting through to contract negotiation and account management.

* Delivering compelling presentations and proposals tailored to customer needs.

* Working closely with scientific and operational teams to develop customer solutions.

* Representing the business at industry conferences, exhibitions and networking events.

* Maintaining accurate sales forecasts and CRM records.

* Monitoring market trends, competitor activity and emerging opportunities.

About You

You'll be an ambitious sales professional with a strong track record of selling scientific or laboratory services into the life sciences sector.

We're looking for someone with:

* Proven success in B2B sales within diagnostics, laboratory services, clinical research, CRO, pharmaceutical or biotechnology markets.

* Experience selling services rather than products would be advantageous.

* Strong understanding of diagnostic testing and laboratory workflows.

* Demonstrable ability to generate new business and manage complex sales cycles.

* Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills.

* A consultative approach to customer engagement.

* Self-motivation and the ability to work independently in a remote environment.

* Willingness to travel throughout the UK for customer meetings and industry events.

* Full UK driving licence.

A degree in Life Sciences, Biomedical Sciences, Biology, Chemistry or a related discipline would be beneficial but is not essential if supported by relevant commercial experience.
