We are assisting a national supported living provider who are seeking full time Support Workers to work in Shrewsbury. There are full and part time opportunities available!
Full Training is offered, as well as great progression and career development into management opportunities.
Driving license is preferred and you full right to work (no visa sponsorship offered)
Shift patterns are 7am – 2pm / 2pm – 10pm , and some over nights which are 10 pm – 7am. You do get your rota 4-6 weeks in advance, but you must be flexible to work across 7 days. There is also 9-5 positions on a part time basis.
Responsibilities
* Assisting individuals with personal care, daily routines, and activities
* Supporting clients to access community resources and participate in social activities
* Developing and implementing personalised care plans in collaboration with the team and clients
* Encouraging independence whilst ensuring safety and wellbeing at all times
* Maintaining accurate records of support provided and any changes in client needs
Skills
* Experience working with children or vulnerable adults is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided
* Good communication skills to effectively engage with clients, colleagues, and external professionals
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a supportive environment
* Basic IT skills for record keeping and updating care plans
