Job Title: Engineering Teacher
Location: Derby

Salary: £168 - £232 per day
TeacherActive is proud to be working with a mainstream secondary school based in Swadlincote. The school is a well-subscribed secondary school with a feel of the community. The school boasts fantastic facilities and offers opportunities both inside and outside of lessons to promote students’ engagement, to help them flourish personally and academically.
The school is looking to take on an Engineering Teacher on a long term, full-time placement within their Design Technology department.The successful applicant will be working across Key Stage 5, including exam preparation for exams. The role will be paramount in helping students achieve excellent results in the subject, whilst following and implementing the schemes of learning.
The successful Engineering Teacher will have:
QTS with Design Technology or Engineering specialism (ECTs are also welcomed)
Experience teaching Engineering at Key Stage 5
Excellent classroom management
