Lead a Major CAPEX Project with a Growing Principal Contractor

Are you an experienced Project Manager looking for your next contract? Do you thrive in live manufacturing environments and enjoy delivering complex installation projects from start to finish?

My client, a well-established principal contractor with an excellent reputation across the food, beverage, laboratory and pharmaceutical sectors, is looking to appoint a Project Manager on a 12-month contract to deliver a high-profile CAPEX project starting in August.

Take Ownership of a Business-Critical Installation

You'll be responsible for leading the installation of new production equipment within an existing food manufacturing facility. Working closely with the end client and project stakeholders, you'll ensure the project is delivered safely, on time, and within budget while maintaining the highest standards throughout.

Your responsibilities will include:

Managing and supervising day-to-day site operations.
Coordinating labour, subcontractors, plant and materials.
Driving high standards of health, safety, quality and compliance.
Delivering toolbox talks, RAMS reviews and site inspections.
Building strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders.
Monitoring project progress and maintaining accurate reporting and documentation.

What We're Looking For

To be successful in this role, you'll have:

Proven experience delivering projects within manufacturing or industrial environments.
A strong track record managing equipment installation or CAPEX projects.
Experience working safely within live manufacturing sites.
Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills.
A higher-level qualification in Construction or Engineering.
SMSTS.
CSCS Card.
First Aid certification.
NEBOSH qualification.
Proficiency with Microsoft Teams, SharePoint and Microsoft Office.
