Job Summary
A leading manufacturer in Thetford is seeking a reliable and motivated Production Technician to join its production team. This role plays a key part in ensuring the efficient manufacture, assembly, inspection, and packaging of products while maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety, and productivity.
Key Responsibilities
Operate production machinery and equipment in accordance with company procedures.
Assemble, prepare, inspect, and package products to required quality standards.
Monitor production processes and identify any issues affecting quality or efficiency.
Complete production documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
Ensure materials and components are available to support production schedules.
Assist with machine set-ups, changeovers, and routine equipment checks.
Carry out cleaning duties and maintain a safe and organised work area.
Work closely with production, quality, engineering, and warehouse teams to achieve production targets.
Follow all health and safety regulations, company policies, and GMP procedures where applicable.
Report equipment faults, quality concerns, shortages, or production delays promptly. Requirements
Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment is desirable.
Good understanding of health and safety practices within a production setting.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet production targets.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Physically capable of standing for extended periods and handling materials safely.
Basic computer skills for production recording and tracking purposes.
Flexible and willing to work rotating shifts. Benefits
