Contract Duration: ASAP until mid‑August (with a potential pause from 27 July to 7 August during site shutdown)
Working Hours- Flexible start time between 06:00 and 14:00 for 8 hours per shift with a 30‑minute unpaid break.
Pay-£18.03 per hour, 37.5 hours paid per week
Location: Widnes, WA8
You will provide essential administrative support within a busy transport office, ensuring efficient day‑to‑day operations during a temporary period. This position requires accuracy, organisation and a professional approach to handling varied administrative tasks.
Key Responsibilities
Excel data entry - maintaining accurate and timely records
Document organisation - filing, sorting and managing paperwork
Administrative processing - copying, preparing and handling documents
Driver liaison - communicating with drivers to support operational flow
Transport office support - assisting with ad hoc administrative duties as requiredRequirements
Administrative experience within an office environment, ideally in transport or logistics
Proficiency in Excel, including accurate data entry
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage documents and maintain orderly filing systems
Clear communication skills, particularly when liaising with drivers and internal teams
Ability to work independently and manage tasks during busy operational periods
Reliability and punctuality
