Introduction

Acorn by Synergie is recruiting experienced Production Operatives / Counterbalance Forklift Drivers to join a busy manufacturing and warehouse facility in Dunkeswell, near Honiton.

This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with experience as a Counterbalance Forklift Driver, FLT Driver, Forklift Operator, Warehouse Operative, Production Operative, Manufacturing Operative, Yard Operative, or Factory Operative to secure a long-term temporary-to-permanent role with excellent rates of pay, regular weekday shifts, and weekends off.

Please note that a valid Counterbalance Forklift licence is essential, along with your own transport due to the location.

Key Duties

Operate a Counterbalance Forklift Truck (FLT) safely and efficiently within a busy manufacturing and warehouse environment.
Load, unload, move, and store raw materials and finished goods.
Supply production lines with materials to maintain continuous production.
Remove bags from racking and feed materials into the manufacturing process.
Clean Intermediate Bulk Containers (IBCs) ready for reuse.
Connect and disconnect IBCs as required.
Build pallets and prepare products for storage or dispatch.
Complete production and warehouse paperwork accurately.
Carry out manual handling and general production duties as required.
Follow all health and safety procedures and maintain high housekeeping standards.

Requirements

Valid Counterbalance Forklift Truck (FLT) licence (RTITB, ITSSAR, AITT, NPORS, or equivalent).
Previous experience as a Counterbalance Forklift Driver, FLT Driver, Forklift Operator, Warehouse Operative, Production Operative, Manufacturing Operative, or Factory Operative.
Experience working within a warehouse, logistics, manufacturing, or production environment.
Good understanding of health and safety procedures.
Reliable, punctual, and able to work to production targets.
Comfortable working as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Own transport is essential due to the location.
