Electrician - Housing Services
We are looking for a qualified and experienced Electrician to join our Housing Services team. You will carry out repairs, maintenance, testing, inspection, and installation work across a range of council-owned domestic and residential properties.
Houly Rate - £30.32 per hour.
Must have own van.
Key Responsibilities
Perform electrical repairs, maintenance, and installations.
Carry out testing, inspection, and certification in line with current regulations.
Diagnose and resolve electrical faults.
Maintain high standards of health and safety.
Complete work records and reports electronically and manually.
Provide excellent customer service when working in occupied properties.
Participate in out-of-hours call-out rotas and training programmes as required.Essential Requirements
NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent).
18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification.
Inspection and Testing qualification (or equivalent).
Completed recognised electrical apprenticeship with relevant post-apprenticeship experience.
Knowledge of BS 7671 and Electricity at Work Regulations.
Full UK driving licence.
Strong fault-finding, communication, and customer service skills.What We Offer
