Housekeeper

We are recruiting on behalf of a lovely family based in Keston, Kent who are looking for an experienced Cleaner / Housekeeper to join them on a long-term, permanent basis.

This is a varied role combining housekeeping, cleaning, laundry and general household support. The family have a reputation for looking after their staff extremely well and are seeking someone who takes pride in creating a warm, organised and welcoming home.

The position is 4 days per week | 8:30am-4:30pm (some flexibility available). Up to £20 an hour

The Role

• Maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of a large family home

• Daily tidying of living areas, kitchens, bedrooms and bathrooms

• Laundry, ironing and wardrobe organisation

• Changing bed linen and managing household supplies

• Receiving deliveries and putting away groceries

• Occasional errands such as collecting household items or dog food

• Greeting visitors and providing a warm welcome

• Supporting with occasional family gatherings and entertaining

• Helping to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the household

About You

• Previous cleaning / cleaner experience is essential

• High standards of cleaning and organisation

• Trustworthy, discreet and professional

• Friendly, warm and personable

• Able to work independently and manage your own workload

• Comfortable around dogs

Hours

4 days per week

Monday and Friday are fixed working days, with two additional days agreed.

Typically 8:30am-4:30pm, although the family can offer some flexibility around working hours for the right person
