Are you a caring and committed SEN Teaching Assistant looking to make a real difference? We have several full-time opportunities supporting pupils with Autism (ASD) and Speech, Language & Communication Needs (SLCN) on Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) within a welcoming primary school in Smethwick.
Working on a 1:1 basis across Years 2, 3, 4 and 5, you'll help pupils access learning, develop confidence and achieve their individual targets within their mainstream classroom.
Responsibilities:
Providing dedicated 1:1 support for pupils with ASD and SLCN.
Delivering tailored interventions and adapting learning activities.
Encouraging positive behaviour, communication and independence.
Working closely with class teachers, SENCOs and external professionals.
Recording progress and supporting EHCP outcomes.What We're Looking For:
A Level 2 or 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning, or a relevant subject.
Has experience supporting children with SEN, particularly ASD and/or SLCN.
Is patient, proactive and able to build positive relationships.
Can commit to a full-time role from September.
