We are currently seeking an experienced CNC Miller Setter/Operator to join our dynamic and growing manufacturing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled individual with a strong background in CNC machining and problem-solving in a fast-paced, high-precision environment.
CNC Miller, Setter, Opertor - Key Responsibilities:
* Set up, and operate, CNC milling machines (3, 4, or 5-axis).
* Interpret technical drawings and CAD/CAM data.
* Select and fit appropriate tooling, materials, and fixtures.
* Perform in-process quality checks and adjust programs as needed.
* Maintain machinery and ensure optimal performance.
* Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve processes.
CNC Miller, Setter, Operator - About You:
* Minimum 3–5 years of hands-on CNC milling experience.
* Proficient in setting and operating.
* Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
* Comfortable working to tight tolerances in low- or medium-batch production.
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
* Positive attitude and a team-player mentality.
Desirable (but not essential):
* Experience with CAD/CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, Edgecam).
* Knowledge of lean manufacturing or continuous improvement methods.
* Previous experience in precision engineering sectors.
