Job Role of the Installation Electrician

You will be responsible for carrying out electrical installation work, electrical maintenance, fault finding, and planned preventative maintenance on a range of industrial machinery and site equipment, ensuring maximum uptime, reliability and safety across the facility.
Sector – Industrial Manufacturing / Factory Maintenance
Non-Negotiable Requirements of the Installation Electrician
Level 3 Electrical Installation qualification (or equivalent)
18th Edition Wiring Regulations
Industrial maintenance or industrial installation background
Strong hands-on electrical fault-finding experience within an industrial environment
Requirements for the Installation Electrician
Experience working within an industrial or manufacturing environment
Strong understanding of electrical systems, control panels and machinery
Experience with planned preventative maintenance, breakdown repair and installation work
Ability to work independently and as part of a maintenance team
Good understanding of Health & Safety procedures
Desirable Requirements for the Installation Electrician
Previous experience as an Electrical Maintenance Engineer or Installation Electrician in the UK
Experience working on industrial machinery, conveyors or automated systems
Basic PLC fault-finding experience (advantageous but not essential)
