PK Education are recruiting for a passionate and creative Drama Teacher to join a welcoming secondary school. This is a full-time role, ideal for a teacher who is committed to inspiring students through engaging and inclusive drama lessons.

Key Duties:

Planning, delivering and assessing engaging Drama lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (Key Stage 5 desirable but not essential)
Marking work and monitoring student progress in line with school policies
Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages creativity and confidence
Preparing students for performances, practical assessments and examinations
Supporting pupils of all abilities, including those with additional learning needs
Contributing to school productions, extracurricular drama clubs and enrichment activities
Building positive relationships with students, parents and colleagues
Maintaining high standards of behaviour and classroom management

Ideal Background:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification
Experience teaching Drama within a secondary school setting
Strong classroom management skills
A passion for performing arts and inspiring young people
Knowledge of the current Drama curriculum and GCSE specifications
Excellent communication and organisational skills
ECTs and experienced teachers are both encouraged to apply
