Vehicle Technician

We are recruiting on behalf of a reputable, family-friendly independent garage in Reading, Berkshire, for the position of Vehicle Technician.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled and experienced vehicle technician to join a well-established business known for its supportive team environment and commitment to staff development.

Monday to Friday working hours, 8am to 4:30pm

Stability with a long-standing local independent garageDuties of a Vehicle Technician:

Conduct complex fault diagnostics and repairs
Perform visual health checks and routine servicing
Diagnose faults accurately and provide effective repair solutions
Complete all digital paperwork with detailed reports
Assist with MOT testing if holding a valid MOT licence
Support workshop functions by working on varied vehicle typesRequirements of a Vehicle Technician:

NVQ Level 3 qualified Vehicle Technician
Minimum of 3 years’ experience, preferably within a main dealer environment
Alternatively, relevant time-served experience considered
Full UK driving licence
Own tools
