Our client Shropshire council is looking for a Senior Safeguarding Practitioner to join their Adults team.
Key Responsibilities:
The post holder will play a vital role in implementing and improving the robust adult safeguarding procedures that already exist within Shropshire. They will contribute to the overall smooth running of the adult safeguarding team and they will also be expected to help deliver the targets set in the general adult safeguarding arena.
To be able deal with conflict and maintain a robust position against challenge
To deputise for the Team manager on adult safeguarding matters in their absence
Respond to concerns and enquiries and for adults at risk of abuse that are brought to the attention of the Local Authority
Hold a complex case load and work to enable the adult at risk to maintain or develop all aspects of daily living and to be as fully independent as possible in a safe and low risk environment
Assist, advise and line manage Safeguarding Practitioners as required
Build strong relationships with providers and partner agencies to assist with maintaining standards of careBenefits of working with Remedy
