This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious Finance Assistant looking to develop their accounting career in a collaborative environment.

The Opportunity
Reporting into the Finance Manager, you'll play a key role in supporting the day-to-day finance operations of the business. This position would suit someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and is keen to broaden their finance knowledge while studying towards a professional qualification.

You'll join a friendly and experienced finance team who are passionate about developing talent and providing ongoing support and mentorship.

Key Responsibilities

Processing supplier invoices accurately and efficiently
Managing banking transactions and payment runs
Preparing and issuing sales invoices
Processing employee expenses
Reconciling supplier statements
Liaising with suppliers regarding account queries and payments
Supporting the Finance Manager with month-end activities
Assisting with financial reporting and ad-hoc finance tasks
Maintaining accurate financial records and documentation
Supporting continuous improvement initiatives within the finance function About You

Previous experience within a Finance Assistant, Accounts Assistant, Purchase Ledger or similar finance role
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent organisational and communication skills
Proactive approach with a willingness to learn
Comfortable working with finance systems and Microsoft Excel
Studying AAT, ACCA or CIMA What's on Offer
