Site Manager – Roofing & External Refurbishment
* Project: L&Q Framework - re-roofs and balconies over 7 low rise blocks.
* Duration: 18-Month Project

Our client is a well-established main contractor with an excellent reputation for delivering high-quality social housing refurbishment and planned maintenance projects. They are looking to appoint an experienced Site Manager to oversee a £6 million roofing and balcony refurbishment scheme for L&Q.

The Project
* Client: L&Q
* Contract Value: £6 million
* Duration: 18 months
* Scope of works:
* Re-roofing works across seven occupied low-rise residential blocks
* Balcony refurbishment and associated external works
* Delivering works safely within a live occupied environment
The Role
As Site Manager, you will take full responsibility for the day-to-day management of the project, ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme, within budget and to the highest quality standards.
Key responsibilities include
* Managing all site activities from mobilisation through to completion.
* Coordinating subcontractors, labour and materials.
* Overseeing roofing, balcony and external refurbishment works.
* Ensuring health and safety compliance at all times.
* Managing programmes and driving productivity on site.
* Liaising with the client, residents and the wider project team.
* Carrying out quality inspections and ensuring works meet specification.
* Producing site reports and maintaining accurate project records.
* Managing site logistics within an occupied residential environment.
About You
To be successful, you'll have:
* Proven experience as a Site Manager working for a main contractor.
* Strong background delivering roofing and external refurbishment projects.
* Experience working on social housing, planned maintenance or occupied residential schemes.
* Excellent organisational and communication skills.
* The ability to manage multiple subcontractors while maintaining quality and programme.
* A proactive approach with strong leadership skills.

* SMSTS
* CSCS Card
* First Aid at Work
* Full UK Driving Licence and car
