Kerry Robert Associates is looking for Maintenance Manager on behalf of a well-established and known hotel near Leicester.
As a Maintenance Manager you will oversee a team of professionals, ensuring that all hotel rooms, public areas, facilities, grounds and equipment are fully functional, safe and maintained.
Responsibilities
* Inspect guest rooms, public areas, facilities and grounds to identify maintenance needs.
* Co-ordinate and schedule preventative maintenance tasks and repairs (i.e. plumbing, heat and ventilation, electrical, painting, carpentry).
* Manage and oversee that all maintenance team and contractors always adhere to health and safety regulations and hotel standards.
* Respond quickly to emergency maintenance issues to minimize guest inconvenience.
* Manage your department’s budget, tools, equipment and supplies.
* Maintain inventory records, orders, inspections and equipment documentation.
Requirements
* At least 3 years of experience as a Maintenance Manager or Assistant Maintenance Manager in a hotel, hospitality setting or similar (i.e. care home).
* Supervisory experience (essential)
* Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, mechanical and building systems.
* Health and safety regulations knowledge.
* Self-motivated and proactive leader capable of communicating effectively with all hotel departments.
* Additional technical certifications or licenses (desirable)
