This Document Controller position is with one of the UK’s leading main contractors. The business is a diverse organisation operating across most sectors of the built environment. This role sits within their London division, which delivers a wide range of projects across both private and public sectors, including retail, commercial, and government fit-out schemes. Project values typically range from £150k to £10m.
The Person
We are seeking a Document Controller with experience working for a top 10 main contractor.
You will be responsible for general document control duties, including the archiving of site documentation, ensuring all records are correctly recorded, numbered, and fully traceable.
Key responsibilities include:
* Maintaining site registers for design reviews
* Generating document numbers
* Quality checking all documentation and correspondence, and issuing document status updates
* Carrying out ad hoc administrative duties when required
* Liaising with internal and external project teams
* Using systems such as SharePoint or 4Projects (previous experience essential)
