Location: Variety of secondary schools across the Doncaster area
Start Date: September 2026

Are you a passionate Secondary Supply Teacher looking for flexible teaching opportunities from September 2026? Academics is working with a range of welcoming secondary schools across the Doncaster area and is looking to recruit enthusiastic and reliable teachers to support schools on a temporary supply basis.
Whether you're an experienced teacher or an Early Career Teacher (ECT), we would love to hear from you.
As a Secondary Supply Teacher, you will:
Deliver engaging lessons across your specialist subject and, where required, general cover.
Maintain high standards of classroom management and behaviour.
Adapt quickly to different school environments.
Follow school policies and procedures.
Provide a positive learning experience for students across Key Stages 3 and 4 (and Key Stage 5 where applicable).
What We Offer
Competitive daily pay of £140 to £225 per day (inclusive of holiday pay), dependent upon experience, qualifications, subject specialism, and the client.
Flexible working to suit your availability.
Opportunities to work in a variety of secondary schools across Doncaster.
Ongoing support from a dedicated Academics consultant.
Opportunities for long-term and potential permanent roles.
To be considered for this Secondary Supply Teacher role, you will have:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), QTLS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
Previous experience teaching within UK secondary schools.
A current Enhanced DBS Certificate registered on the Update Service, or be willing to apply for a new Enhanced DBS check.
Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
The right to work in the UK.
