Trust Education are looking to recruit a motivated and flexible General Cover Teacher to join a large and friendly Primary school in Wakefield. This is a full-time, ongoing and temporary position.
The Role
As a General Cover Teacher, you'll have the opportunity to teach across a variety of subjects and year groups, delivering pre-planned lessons, managing the classroom effectively and ensuring pupils remain engaged and continue to make progress during teacher absences. This is an ideal role for a confident and adaptable teacherwho enjoys variety and making a positive impact in the classroom.
The Ideal Candidate will:
* Have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant UK teaching experience with experience working across a range of subjects and key stages
* Have excellent working knowledge of the Primary National Curriculum
* Demonstrate flexibility and confidence in teaching different classes, quickly adapting to new classroom environments and pupils' needs.
* Have strong communication, organisational and behaviour management skills
