SEN Teaching Assistant - Redbridge
Prospero Teaching is recruiting a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join an Ofsted-rated Outstanding academy in Redbridge. This full-time, long-term role involves supporting pupils with additional needs within a mainstream setting.
Role Details:
Location: Redbridge
Position: SEN Teaching Assistant
Start Date: September 2026
Contract: Long-term, full-time
Hours: Monday - FridayResponsibilities:
Support pupils with ASD, SLD and PMLD
Provide 1:1 and small group support
Assist the class teacher with daily classroom activities
Support students with personal care where required
Help promote positive behaviour, engagement and learning
Build positive relationships with students and staffRequirements:
Experience supporting children or young people with SEN
Ability to manage challenging behaviour
Experience working with individuals aged 2-19 years
Valid enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
Right to Work in the UK
