Our client, a well-established family-run independent garage in Blackpool, Lancashire, is seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician to join their professional team. This is an excellent opportunity for a knowledgeable and experienced motor trade professional to work in a busy workshop renowned for quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.

Competitive salary ranging from £34,000 to £38,000, based on experience
Monday to Friday working week, with optional weekend overtime for additional earnings

Ongoing training to enhance skills and knowledge within the automotive industryDuties of a Vehicle Technician:

Conduct comprehensive vehicle diagnostics, repairs, and servicing to manufacturer standards
Accurately identify faults and diagnose complex vehicle issues
Perform general maintenance such as brake, suspension, engine repairs, and replacements
Ensure all work complies with safety and quality standards
Manage workshop workflow efficiently to meet customer deadlines
Maintain precise records of work performed and parts used
Assist with MOT testing if qualified; training can be provided
Contribute to a positive team environment by sharing skills and best practiceRequirements of a Vehicle Technician:

Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician within a busy garage environment
NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Motor Vehicle Maintenance and Repair preferred
MOT Tester licence advantageous; training can be provided if necessary
Confident in using diagnostic tools, hand tools, and workshop equipment
Reliable, diligent, and capable of working effectively within a team
