Location: Birmingham, B34
Start Date: ASAP Start
Contract: Full-time, long-term (full academic year)
Pay: In line with Level 3 TA scale
Hours: Monday to Friday, school hours

We are currently recruiting a qualified Level 3 Teaching Assistant to work on a full-time, long-term basis at a welcoming primary school in the B34 area of Birmingham. This role is for the full academic year and offers a fantastic opportunity to support pupils in Year 4 within a supportive and inclusive school environment.

Role Responsibilities
As a Level 3 Teaching Assistant, you will:

Provide in-class support for Year 4 pupils
Work with small groups and individual pupils to support learning and progress
Plan and deliver targeted intervention sessions
Support pupils with a range of abilities, including those requiring additional support
Assist the class teacher with lesson preparation and assessment support
Promote positive behaviour and engagement in learning
Help create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment
Work closely with teachers, SEN staff, and other support staffRequirements

Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (essential)
Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a primary school
Experience supporting pupils within Key Stage 2, ideally Year 4
Confidence working independently and delivering interventions
Strong behaviour management and communication skills
A caring, proactive, and professional approach
Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)Why Apply?
