Compliance Surveillance Analyst
Contract Type: Temporary (9 months)
Working Pattern: Full Time, hybrid, working 3 days in the office Monday - Friday 40 hrs per week
Location: Belfast
Pay per day: £145 umbrella
As a Compliance Surveillance Analyst, you will play a critical role in safeguarding our organisation's integrity. Your responsibilities will include:
Assisting in the review and analysis of surveillance alerts related to firm, employee, and client trading activities.
Documenting the review and disposition of exceptions while escalating matters appropriately.
Gathering and analysing trade data to support responses to inquiries from governmental and regulatory bodies.
Communicating surveillance findings to management clearly and concisely.
Collaborating with various internal partners, including Assurance, Internal Audit, and Legal.
Handling hotline inquiries and performing data entry as needed.
Assessing risk with every business decision to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.We are looking for someone who has:
Previous relevant experience in compliance or risk management.
Some knowledge of compliance laws, rules, regulations, risks, and typologies.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
A self-starter attitude, with the flexibility to adapt to changing situations.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across all levels of the organisation.
Proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
